DescriptionThe whole story▼
Genuine LS2 ratchet plate for the FF906 Advant, part 800906CBP03. It works alongside the ratchet system (800906CBR01) in the chin bar mechanism and is the mating face that the detents run against.
Order it when the chin bar's travel has become gritty or uneven — when the 180-degree rotation no longer runs smoothly to its stop, or when the bar needs coaxing at one point of the arc. That is usually wear or contamination on this face rather than a fault in the bar, and it is the cheapest part of the mechanism to renew.
Fitted from the outside with a screwdriver. If you are already in there, it is worth replacing the metal chin bar plate (800906CBP02) at the same time; both are inexpensive, both wear together, and doing the job twice is the only genuinely expensive option. One part number covers all sizes.
