The OBT009 is the rear bracket: 28.9 mm by 31 mm, black anodised, 10 g. There is no colour choice here — the OBT009 is black. It goes onto the MONSTER 1200 without modification and comes off again just as easily.

Key Features

Sold separately from the reservoir, as LighTech supplies it

Nothing on the MONSTER 1200 is drilled, cut or permanently altered

Black anodised — LighTech makes this bracket in no other finish

Fitting the OBT009 to the MONSTER 1200 needs hand tools only

Decides where the reservoir ends up on the MONSTER 1200

The rear bracket of the pair

The Mount Decides the Fit

Position decides whether the hose runs clean or kinks on a MONSTER 1200. LighTech dimensions the OBT009 to 28.9 mm by 31 mm so the hose run stays short on the MONSTER 1200. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.

Fitment

LighTech lists the OBT009 for the Ducati MONSTER 1200. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the MONSTER 1200 first.

Installation

The OBT009 goes on with the MONSTER 1200 on its stand. Mount it so the reservoir sits above the master cylinder on the MONSTER 1200, never below. Keep the original parts — the change is fully reversible on the MONSTER 1200.

Maintenance

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT009. The OBT009 needs no maintenance of its own beyond that.

In the Package

The OBT009 is supplied as a single bracket with its fasteners. The part number is all you need to quote for a repeat order on the MONSTER 1200.

Before You Order

LighTech sells this mount on its own. The tank — OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007 — is a separate article. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your MONSTER 1200.

Approval and Safety

Replacing a reservoir touches the brake system of the MONSTER 1200, not just its appearance. The OBT009 carries no approval mark. If the MONSTER 1200 is used on public roads, treat this as a brake-system modification: inspection body first, workshop check after.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Ducati MONSTER 1200 (2014 to 2021)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_dd9e894b-6119-4cff-a263-df79befd14f0.png?v=1791203862
https://inter-pace.com/en-bb/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-rear-ducati-monster-1200-2014-2021-obt009
