LighTech's OBT008 carries the reservoir at 60.6 mm height and 90.3 mm out from the mount. The bracket comes black; colour lives on the reservoir, not the mount. The 998 cc MT-10 SP takes it with the standard fittings.

Key Features

Steel-free so nothing corrodes into the MT-10 SP fitting

Laser-marked with the LighTech logo

Sold separately from the reservoir, as LighTech supplies it

Decides where the reservoir ends up on the MT-10 SP

Supplied individually for the MT-10 SP

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

What It Fits

The listing is for the MT-10 SP and the years 2016 to 2026. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the MT-10 SP first.

Mounting It

Fitting the OBT008 to an MT-10 SP is a hand-tool job. Check steering lock on the MT-10 SP once the tank is in place. No permanent alteration to the MT-10 SP is involved.

Position Is the Point

Position decides whether the hose runs clean or kinks on an MT-10 SP. Black anodised aluminium at 10 g, which is all the OBT008 needs to be. It is the smallest part of the installation.

Before You Order

No reservoir is included with the OBT008. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. If you are starting from nothing on the MT-10 SP, you need both lines on the order.

Maintenance

Check the bracket fasteners on the MT-10 SP at the same interval as the bar clamps. The OBT008 needs no maintenance of its own beyond that.

What Is in the Box

LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. LighTech keeps it as a stock item.

Road Use and Approval

On an MT-10 SP this component carries brake or clutch fluid under pressure. LighTech supplies no type-approval document with the OBT008, and we make no approval claim for it. For a road-registered MT-10 SP in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Yamaha MT-10 SP (2016 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_2774cfdd-f91a-4f8f-9369-ea596a3b2637.png?v=1791205219
https://inter-pace.com/en-bb/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-front-yamaha-mt-10-sp-2016-2026-obt008
