The LighTech OBT008 is that bracket — 60.6 mm tall with 90.3 mm of projection, 10 g. One finish only: black, as LighTech supplies it. The listing covers the MONSTER 1200 across 8 model years (2014 to 2021).

Key Features

It is the cheapest visible change on a MONSTER 1200

Sold separately from the reservoir, as LighTech supplies it

Covers the MONSTER 1200 across 8 model years (2014 to 2021)

The front bracket of the pair

The OBT008 is machined from solid, not cast or pressed

Fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007

Maintenance

Vibration finds every loose fastener on the MONSTER 1200 eventually. The OBT008 is the front of the two brackets, measuring 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.

Fitment and Compatibility

Fitment is the MONSTER 1200 across 2014 to 2021. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the MONSTER 1200 first.

Fitting

Allow half an hour on the MONSTER 1200 including bleeding. Mount it so the reservoir sits above the master cylinder on the MONSTER 1200, never below. Keep the original parts — the change is fully reversible on the MONSTER 1200.

Supplied As

One bracket per package for the MONSTER 1200. It carries the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007, which are ordered separately. If you are starting from nothing on the MONSTER 1200, you need both lines on the order.

Approval and Safety

Anything in the hydraulic circuit of a MONSTER 1200 is safety-relevant by definition. LighTech does not certify the OBT008 for road use, and neither do we. For a road-registered MONSTER 1200 in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Ducati MONSTER 1200 (2014 to 2021)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_9d43f628-826d-4282-8fb0-97b66741fb5f.png?v=1791204773
https://inter-pace.com/en-bb/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-front-ducati-monster-1200-2014-2021-obt008
