The JP ES 013 settles the Ninja 300's sidestand loop so the motorcycle runs with the bracket removed.

Replaced by the Ninja 400
Kawasaki moved to a larger engine and a better frame in 2018. The 300 has become an unusually cheap route into motorcycling as a result.
A Long Production Run
Kawasaki built the 300 essentially unchanged for six years, which means parts are plentiful and nothing about them is hard to source.
The Interlock
Kawasaki cuts the engine if a gear is selected while the stand is down. It exists for a specific low-speed accident that catches experienced riders as readily as new ones.
Mud Packs It Solid
On a machine ridden off tarmac the mechanism fills, and a filled switch reports a deployed stand entirely on its own. Washing it out buys a ride or two.
Grease the Connector
On a bike that keeps its stand, cleaning the plug and packing it properly sometimes buys another year. It is worth trying before anything is ordered.
Storage Between Seasons
A bike laid up with a damp connector comes out of storage with a fault it did not have in October. It is a common spring complaint.
Weight Is Not the Point
The switch weighs nothing. This is about a component that has failed or a stand that has gone, and no honest description says otherwise.
