The JP MJ 008 takes the KLZ 1100 Versys's factory mixture and adds the correction the engine actually wants, without any of the original electronics being reprogrammed.

More Capacity Again
The 1099 cc four gives the big Versys the low-rev pull that the 1000 always slightly lacked when loaded.
What a Power Module Actually Does
It sits between the motorcycle's loom and its injectors, reading what the standard controller decides and adjusting the injector opening time before the signal arrives. The original electronics keep their job and their diagnostics; the module only corrects the quantity of fuel that reaches the cylinder.
The Closed Loop Window
Modern controllers only trim against the oxygen sensor in a narrow band of load and revs. Outside that band the map runs open loop, and that is exactly where an added correction has room to work.
Where It Makes the Biggest Difference
An older injected machine with an aftermarket exhaust, ridden briskly on roads. That combination is where the standard mixture is furthest from what the engine now wants.
Oxygen Sensor Interaction
Nothing is disconnected and nothing is simulated. The standard trim loop continues to operate in the band where it operates, and the module's correction sits on top of the result.
The Other Unit in the Range
JetPrime also sells a programmable control unit at a higher price for owners who want to shape the curve themselves. This one is for owners who would rather not.
The Engine Is Not at Risk
The correction is small, it is applied in the rich direction where it matters and the standard controller's protections all remain active. This is not a device that can lean an engine out.
Not a Cure for Age
An engine with worn valve guides or low compression runs badly for mechanical reasons. Adding fuel masks a symptom and delays a repair that will only get more expensive.
