DescriptionThe whole story▼

The JP ACCGP DU020 fits the Ducati Diavel 1260 (2019-2023), shortening the ride-by-wire rotation to sixty degrees so this power cruiser's low, laid-back grip asks for the Testastretta V-twin's torque over a noticeably shorter twist, closer to the feel of an old-fashioned cable throttle.

Key Features

  • Ducati Diavel 1260 (2019–2023)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

A Cruiser Stance, A Sportbike's Torque

The Diavel 1260 pairs a relaxed, feet-forward seating position with a V-twin that would not feel out of place in a sportbike, and that contrast is exactly where a shorter throttle rotation earns its keep, keeping access to that torque quick despite the laid-back riding position.

The Cable-Pull Feel, Recreated Electronically

Before ride-by-wire became standard, a cable throttle gave a direct, physical sense of exactly how much gas was being asked for with every small movement of the wrist. This unit keeps the Diavel's electronic throttle underneath but shortens the mechanical rotation enough to bring much of that same sensation back.

A Relaxed Grip Still Needs a Quick Response

Sitting low and stretched out on a power cruiser does not mean wanting a slow throttle; if anything, a more reclined wrist position benefits from needing less rotation to reach full opening, since there is less natural leverage available in that posture to begin with.

Fitting Without Touching What Is Already There

The unit mounts using the same connector and cable routing points as the factory throttle body, so nothing about the Diavel's existing switchgear or wiring needs to move, change, or be spliced to accommodate the new part.

A Diagnostic Step to Finish

Once bolted into place, the throttle body needs the standard diagnostic relearn so the bike's control unit recognises the new closed-to-open range, a routine procedure rather than any kind of engine remapping or tuning exercise.

The Original Part, Kept Safe

The factory throttle body comes off whole, without cutting or drilling, so it can be stored and refitted later if an owner wants the Diavel 1260 back in standard specification, whether for resale or simple preference.
