DescriptionThe whole story▼
JP PDRQ KT016 E is the race-pattern version of the switch block for a KTM 1290 Super Adventure (2021–2024) running a quick throttle. Rather than carrying every touring function across, it keeps only what a track session needs, in the same bronze-anodised Ergal as the road kit.
Key Features

- For the KTM 1290 Super Adventure, 2021-2024

- Mounts onto the Jetprime quick throttle
- Plug and play for this model only
- Not a standalone switch block
A Big Adventure Bike on Track
It is an unusual sight, but Super Adventures do see track days, usually stripped of luggage and switched into their sportier ride mode. This race block matches that use by dropping touring buttons the circuit never calls for. It is a straightforward fact once stated, even if it rarely appears on the box itself.
Fewer Buttons, Same Material
The reduction is in function count, not build quality. It is still CNC-machined from Ergal and anodised bronze right through the material, just laid out with only the controls a rider actually needs mid-session. The same reasoning explains why two visually different bikes can still take the identical part.
Why the Part Number Changes
Swapping from the road kit to this racing layout changes the button count and wiring inside the same housing shape, which is why KT016 gains the extra R in its number rather than sharing one part across both versions. That is also why a photo of the bar alone is not enough to confirm fitment.
Still Tied to the Quick Throttle
Like the road version, this block has no function without a Jetprime quick throttle conversion already in place. It carries no electronics of its own and simply relocates what the conversion displaces, now in a shorter list. It is one of those details that separates a correct order from a frustrating return.
Bronze or Titanium, Rider's Choice
Available anodised in titanium as a separate listing for a cooler-toned match. Bronze tends to suit a bike already running orange or copper trim; titanium leans toward grey and black builds. A rider fitting the part for the first time will notice it within a few minutes.
