DescriptionThe whole story▼

JP PDQ TR002 E is JetPrime's bronze-anodised switch block for the half-faired Speed Triple 1200 RR, built for owners who have fitted a quick-action throttle. The RR sits lower and more track-focused than the standard naked Speed Triple, and its switches have less room to spare.

Key Features

  • Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR (2021–2024)
  • Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR (2021–2024)
  • For quick-action throttle installations
  • Bronze anodised Ergal 7075
  • CNC-machined from solid
  • Military-specification switch elements
  • Pre-wired for the original connector

The RR Is the Sportier Speed Triple

Where the standard naked sits the rider upright, the half-faired RR drops the bars and tightens the whole riding position toward the track. A shorter throttle action suits that posture, and the displaced switches need a purpose-built home. The RR's half-fairing is the visible sign of that shift, and the switch position follows the same logic underneath it.

A Separate Block, Not a Modification

This unit mounts alongside whatever the quick-action kit left on the bar rather than replacing any existing part. Nothing about the standard switchgear is altered, which keeps the conversion easy to reverse later. Owners can remove the whole assembly later without leaving any trace that a quick-action throttle was ever fitted.

Bronze Worked Through the Surface

The anodising sits inside the Ergal rather than on top of it, so the finish will not flake under a tight grip through a race glove. It reads as a deliberate colour choice rather than a mismatched add-on part. It is a finish intended to be noticed up close rather than to shout from across a paddock.

Switches Rated Beyond Road Use

The elements inside are sealed to a specification intended for far rougher conditions than a road-going RR will generate. Heat after a hard ride and exposure to a wet garage both sit well inside that margin. That margin is what lets the part survive seasons of trackday use rather than a single summer.

Fits Only This Generation

The loom plugs straight into the RR's original connector with nothing to splice, and the block is machined only for this specific model, not the standard naked Speed Triple. It is not a standalone switch and only works with a fitted quick-action throttle.
