DescriptionThe whole story▼
The long rear mudguard, mounted above the tyre. Seven photographed views, which for a part this size tells you how much shape there is in it.
Key Features
- Rear mudguard in the long factory profile
- 200 Plain weave, clear coat, matt, satin or raw
- Autoclave-cured, original mounting tabs
- Full rear wheel coverage retained
- Specific to the Hypermotard 698 Mono
Why the Word Long Is in the Name
Fullsix calls this the long version. That distinguishes it from the cropped tails supermoto riders fit, and it is the one that keeps the coverage the bike left the factory with.
Which matters here more than on most models. Rear wheel coverage is a construction requirement in several markets, and a Hypermotard is exactly the kind of bike where owners shorten things. This part is the option that does not create that problem.
A Single Throws Differently
One large cylinder produces a different rear wheel behaviour from a twin: more torque pulses, more wheelspin on a damp roundabout, and more thrown water when it happens. The mudguard does not change any of that; it decides where it lands.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono, model years 2024 to 2026, with the original subframe and mounting tabs.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. It maintains the factory coverage, which is the point of the long version.
Fitting
Locate the panel on its tabs before any fastener goes in. Original rubber washers back in place so no screw bears directly on the laminate.
