DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered to meet the uncompromising demands of professional motorsport, the Carbonin Avio Fiber airbox cover for the BMW S1000RR K67 (2019-2022) delivers race-proven airflow optimisation alongside a meaningful reduction in unsprung mass. Every detail of this cover has been developed specifically for the K67 generation, ensuring a precise, factory-quality fit that generic alternatives simply cannot match.
Key Features
- Constructed from Avio Fiber — Carbonin's proprietary lightweight composite renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and structural rigidity
- Optimises intake airflow to the engine, contributing to more efficient combustion and sharper throttle response
- Developed exclusively for the BMW S1000RR K67 (2019-2022) for guaranteed dimensional accuracy and seamless integration
- Reduces overall machine weight compared to the OEM plastic airbox cover, benefiting both track lap times and handling balance
- Race-quality construction built to withstand the thermal and mechanical stresses of sustained high-performance use
Bracket Requirements
Correct installation of the B4425AF airbox cover requires a compatible bracket. The appropriate bracket depends on your subframe configuration:
- IN404B bracket — required when retaining the original standard subframe
- Short Holder — required when using a short subframe
The cover cannot be correctly mounted without one of these brackets. Both options are available separately and can be selected at the time of ordering using the bracket option below.
Build Quality and Performance
Carbonin's Avio Fiber composite sits between traditional fibreglass and full carbon in terms of production process, yet it delivers a performance profile that fully justifies its place on a race machine. The material offers outstanding impact resistance and dimensional stability across a wide temperature range — critical qualities in an airbox environment where heat soak and vibration are constant factors. The surface finish is clean and consistent, accepting paint or leaving race-ready as supplied.
The shaped profile of the cover channels incoming air more directly toward the airbox inlet than the standard unit, supporting the engine's breathing under high-rev conditions. For riders chasing marginal gains on track, every efficiency improvement matters — and this cover addresses one of the more overlooked areas of the K67's intake system.
Fitment and Compatibility
This airbox cover is designed and manufactured exclusively for the following motorcycle:
- BMW S1000RR K67 — model years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022
It is not compatible with earlier S1000RR generations (K46 or prior). Always confirm your frame code before ordering.
