DescriptionThe whole story▼
If you want a genuine performance upgrade for your Aprilia RSV4, RF, RR or 1100 Factory that delivers measurable gains without swapping the entire exhaust system, the Austin Racing slip-on is the straightforward answer. Manufactured in England from titanium and carbon, the GP1R, GP2R and V3 are purpose-built for track use, and each model can be specified to suit your exact sound, look and budget requirements.
Key Features
- Full titanium and carbon construction throughout — lighter, stronger and better looking than OEM steel alternatives
- 3-5 hp power gain across the rev range thanks to improved exhaust flow dynamics
- Adjustable internal baffling on GP1/GP2 models lets you dial sound output between 102 and 110 dB — useful where circuit noise limits apply
- Three distinct silencer families (GP1R, GP2R, V3) with multiple length and finish options to match your riding style and aesthetic
- Straightforward bolt-on fitment — no cutting, welding or frame modification required
- Personalisation options include standard sticker, laser engraving and colour laser engraving depending on model chosen
Silencer Models and Options
Austin Racing offers three silencer families for this fitment, each with a different character:
- GP1R — 60 mm outlet, available in black or titanium finish; logo options: standard sticker, laser engraving or colour laser engraving; carbon sleeve body
- GP2R — 110 mm carbon silencer for an aggressive racing appearance; fixed carbon design; standard sticker logo only; carbon sleeve body
- GP2 — available in 110 mm or 200 mm carbon versions for a more balanced sound output; standard sticker logo only
- V3 — titanium silencer available in 150 mm, 200 mm or 250 mm lengths; black anodised titanium finish only; colour laser engraving logo; the 250 mm version measures 102-103 dB at 5,500 RPM, making it suitable for many EU circuit noise regulations
Sound Levels
All figures tested at 5,500 RPM:
- GP1R: 110 dB without db-killer
- V3 250 mm: 102-103 dB (accepted at most EU track days)
GP1 and GP2 silencers feature an internal baffling system, allowing you to adjust loudness between 102 and 110 dB to meet circuit requirements without purchasing a separate insert.
ECU Optimisation
To extract the full potential of the Austin Racing slip-on on your Aprilia RSV4/RF/RR/1100 Factory, an ECU remap is strongly recommended. Inter-Pace recommends the Aprilia UpMap T800+, which provides access to professionally calibrated maps developed by ECU master tuner Gabro — maps optimised specifically for Austin Racing exhaust systems. This combination delivers the best possible power output and torque curve the engine can produce.
A servo eliminator (servo-plug) is required when fitting this silencer to prevent error messages from the idle speed servo motor. Please ensure you add one to your order.
Pricing and Ordering
Because these silencers are imported directly from England, the final Euro price fluctuates with the GBP/EUR exchange rate and cannot be fixed in advance. Please contact Inter-Pace directly for a current, personalised quotation — we will always find you the best available price.
