The Multistrada 950 arrived for 2017 as the more approachable member of Ducati's Multistrada family, and plenty of them are ridden all year round. That means regular washing, and for owners without a hose at home it often means the self-service wash bay at the petrol station. Motorcyclists know these bays for a reason: a floor wet with foam, a drain in the middle and a slope towards it. It is an easy place to drop a bike. For the Multistrada 950 of 2017 and 2018, including the Touring, Accossato lists the AGS310, a black clutch lever of the original type.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes the AGS310 as a part of the original type, developed to give its customers a good ratio of quality to price. It keeps the form of the lever it replaces, so the left side of the Multistrada 950 looks as it did before the damage. In the company's words, the manufacturing process used for these levers gives them greater resistance after damage or collisions. The AGS310 is black, the colour Accossato lists for this bike, and further technical details are not published.
At the Self-Service Wash Bay
Most drops in a wash bay happen before any water is sprayed. The rider rolls in, puts the side stand down on a floor that slopes towards the drain, and then pushes the bike back and forth to get it into position, on tiles still slippery with the previous customer's foam. Bring the Multistrada 950 in slowly, stop where the floor is as level as possible and away from the drain, and leave it in gear. While washing, keep the high-pressure jet at a distance from the lever pivots, the switch housings and the electrical connectors, since a strong jet drives water and dirt into places where they do harm. When the bike is dry, it is a good moment to look after the clutch lever: wipe the pivot clean, check it for play and give it a thin new film of grease. If the lever has taken a knock, in the wash bay or anywhere else, replace it instead of trying to straighten it, and check afterwards that the clutch switch responds and that the clutch frees cleanly.
Fitment and Compatibility
On Accossato's list the AGS310 covers the Multistrada 950 of 2017 and 2018, both the standard bike and the Touring, and no other replacement clutch lever is named for these years. At Inter-Pace the same lever is also listed for several other Ducatis, among them the Monster 821, the Hypermotard 939 and the Scrambler Icon. Before ordering, hold the product photo next to the clutch lever on your Multistrada 950 and check that the outline matches.
