DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Kawasaki Vulcan S Cafe pairs a relaxed cruiser riding position with a small nose fairing and the smooth 650 twin. Accossato's AGPP88 rear pad in the Organic mixture is listed for the EN 650 Vulcan S Cafe from 2017 to 2019. It suits riders who use the Cafe for commuting and weekend rides, lean on the rear brake in town and at walking pace, and want a quiet, gentle pedal that wears the disc slowly.

Key Features

  • AGPP88 rear pads for the Kawasaki Vulcan S Cafe, 2017 to 2019
  • Organic mixture, article AGPP88OR
  • Accossato: durable performance and disc-friendly
  • Soft pedal for relaxed, low-speed riding
  • Quiet on the daily commute
  • Friendly for less experienced riders
  • Same plate also available as ST
  • No German approval held; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato presents this compound as long-lasting and kind to the disc. For the rear of a cruiser that is used every day, where most applications are light, that makes sense. Accossato also states that its pads keep temperatures moderate to hold off fade, and that they still stop firmly. The Organic material is bonded to the AGPP88 plate.

An Easy Cruiser for Every Day

The Vulcan S Cafe has a low seat and adjustable ergonomics, which make it popular with shorter riders and those returning to motorcycling. Much of their riding happens at modest speed, and the rear brake is a big part of feeling in control. An Organic pad with a gradual take-up makes it easy to feather the pedal in a slow turn or while filtering.

Check the rear pad depth when you service the bike, keep the disc free of chain lube and cleaning sprays, and press the pedal a few times after fitting to restore pressure. Before the first ride, check that the rear wheel turns freely and that the pedal returns cleanly, then take a short, easy loop around the block to let the pads settle.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato catalogues AGPP88 for the rear of the EN 650 Vulcan S Cafe, 2017 to 2019, shown in our garage as the Kawasaki Vulcan S Cafe. Accossato lists no front pad and no disc for this model. One box fills the rear caliper. Compare old and new pads before fitting.

Road Approval

We have no ABE or approval document for AGPP88OR, so the set is supplied for competition.
