DescriptionThe whole story▼
The AT002-B is Accossato's hydraulic clutch actuator built specifically for various Buell models, sharing the 10.5 mm piston diameter of the standard AT002 but supplied in a single, Buell-specific configuration rather than a choice of stem lengths. Accossato recommends it with a 14 mm clutch master cylinder and specifies an M8x1 brake hose connection with the mounting screw included. Only DOT 4 fluid should be used in the system once it is fitted and bled.
Key Features
- Hydraulic clutch actuator built for various Buell models
- 10.5 mm piston diameter
- Recommended with a 14 mm clutch master cylinder
- M8x1 brake hose connection, screw included
- DOT 4 fluid only
- Made in Italy
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato builds the AT002-B to the same 10.5 mm piston diameter as the standard AT002 and specifies it for the same 14 mm clutch master cylinder, but rather than offering a choice of six stem lengths, this version is made to one fixed configuration matched to Buell's own clutch mounting points. The M8x1 hose connection and included mounting screw carry over unchanged from the rest of the AT002 family.
A Buell-Specific Version of the AT002
Where the standard AT002 covers a spread of motorcycles through six interchangeable stem lengths, Accossato narrows the AT002-B to one job: fitting the various Buell models it is built for, where a single fixed length is enough because the mounting point does not vary across the range the way it does on the mixed group of bikes the general-purpose AT002 serves. That makes ordering simpler for Buell owners, since there is no stem length to measure or match before buying, but it also means the AT002-B cannot be adapted to a non-Buell application the way the standard AT002 can.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AT002-B is sold as a spare and replacement actuator for Accossato's hydraulic clutch kits on various Buell models, rather than one specific model and year named by Accossato. Buyers should confirm against the kit or actuator it is replacing that their Buell takes this version rather than the standard AT002, since the two are not interchangeable once the fixed-length housing is accounted for. The recommended 14 mm clutch master cylinder should already be fitted or specified alongside it.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the AT002-B; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use.
