DescriptionThe whole story▼

Some Husqvarna FC 250 owners do not keep the bike purely on a motocross track. They enter club events, ride hobby races and push hard on closed courses where the braking points are fast and repeatable. For those riders Accossato lists the AGPA29 front pad in its EV1 street/track compound, covering the FC 250 from 2014 to 2026. The company says the mix delivers strong grip for street riding and amateur track use, which on this bike translates to ambitious amateur competition rather than pure mud racing.

Key Features

  • EV1 street/track front pads for the Husqvarna FC 250, 2014 to 2026
  • Accossato describes high grip for road riding and amateur track days
  • For ambitious hobby racers and club competitors
  • A firmer initial bite for riders who brake late and hard
  • Uses the same AGPA29 backing as the other compounds
  • Two pads, one set for one caliper
  • No German ABE on record; supplied for closed-course use

Construction and Material Quality

EV1 is the AGPA29 layer that Accossato sets up for performance on firm surfaces. The manufacturer promises excellent grip in street riding and amateur circuit use, so the character leans towards stronger initial bite and repeatable stopping from speed. The company, founded in Moncalieri near Turin in 1969, also claims low wear, reduced fade from controlled heat and high braking power across its pad range.

Club Racing and Hard-Surface Days

An amateur racer's weekend is short: a practice session, maybe a timed lap, two or three races. There is little time to learn a brake, so the pad has to feel familiar from the first run. EV1 is the pick for riders who know their lines and want to shorten braking zones on hard-packed tracks or tarmac sections. On a first outing with new pads, bed them in with several moderate stops from medium speed before committing to full stops, and check that the disc is clean and free of oil. If the track turns wet or heavy, remember that this mix was designed with firmer ground in mind.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato catalogues this pad for the front of the Husqvarna FC 250 for all years from 2014 to 2026. At the rear, the listed Accossato pad is the AGPP80, and the DK017 and DK018 discs are available for this model too. The same plate is also offered as OR, ST and STMX. The bike has a single front caliper, so a single box does the job.

Road Approval

There is no German ABE for these pads in our paperwork. We therefore sell them for motorsport and track riding.

Scope of Delivery
