DescriptionThe whole story▼

The TC007 pairs Accossato's CrossThrottle body with the GR008 grip, a semi-rigid design built around a black body with a coloured logo rather than the more colourful GR001 or GR003, and interchangeable across both street and off-road throttle controls in Accossato's range. It is sold without cables, so the rider sources a compatible Accossato cable separately. Five logo colours are offered: blue, green, orange, red and yellow.

Key Features

  • CrossThrottle control, single-cable mechanism
  • GR008 semi-rigid grip included, black with a coloured logo
  • Logo available in five colours
  • Sold without cables
  • Made in Italy

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato builds the TC007's body the same way as the rest of its CrossThrottle range, two aluminium half-rings, anodised, but fits the GR008 grip rather than GR003: a semi-rigid compound rather than the harder GR003 material, built to the same black-with-coloured-logo finish Accossato uses across its interchangeable grip range. No internal cam system is described for this body, so the throttle's feel follows the grip and cable it is paired with. That consistency is the main reason Accossato offers GR008 across more than one throttle control family, rather than keeping it exclusive to either the street or off-road range.

A Semi-Rigid Grip, Interchangeable by Design

GR008 differs from GR003 in material rather than colour count: a semi-rigid compound that Accossato also fits to some of its street and racing throttle controls, not only the off-road CrossThrottle range, with the black body and coloured logo staying consistent wherever it is used. Riders who have tried GR008 on a different Accossato throttle control and want the same feel on a CrossThrottle body are the ones most likely to pick the TC007 over the GR003-equipped TC002.

Fitment and Compatibility

The TC007 is a universal throttle control rather than one built for a named motorcycle. Fitting it means confirming the handlebar takes a standard clamp and sourcing a compatible Accossato cable separately, since none is included with this listing. The grip-less TC001 remains the cheaper option for riders who already own a GR008 grip or prefer a different one entirely, since the two grips are not interchangeable once fitted, and the four-stroke TC008 is the version to use instead of this single-cable one if the bike's cable routing calls for it. In the Inter-Pace garage it is listed for two-stroke competition off-road motorcycles, motocross and enduro; the Fitment tab names the individual models.

Road Approval

There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the TC007; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. The throttle must return to the idle position on its own as soon as the grip is released; check this after fitting, before riding.
