The independent rebound and compression adjusters are clearly indexed and accessible from the standard fitment position, so mid-session changes take seconds. For the YZF-R1M specifically, please note that fitting this unit disables the OEM semi-active suspension system — a worthwhile trade for most track-focused riders who prefer fully manual, tunable damping, but one to consider carefully if semi-active convenience on the road is a priority.
