Play at the bushing shows up as a knock over sharp bumps. Inner and outer diameter both matter; a bushing that is a little loose does more damage than none at all. Öhlins uses PTFE-coated bushings for a low breakaway force.

Original Öhlins Part

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 21908-01 in this case. Check inner diameter 27 mm, outer diameter 32.1 mm, length 16 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Play at the bushing shows up as a knock over sharp bumps. Guide bushings set the internal alignment of a cartridge.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21908-01

Category: Guides

Inner Diameter: 27 mm

Outer Diameter: 32.1 mm

Length: 16 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21908-01_8ae4e0af-bd56-4b57-bf74-9aeb1b2b6d11.png?v=1788880449
