Adjuster housings carry seals, and a leak there empties the damper as surely as a shaft seal. The adjuster is the part a rider actually touches, and its detents are what make a setting repeatable. Öhlins offers several lengths so the same body can serve different springs.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 04763-20 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Click adjusters work through a needle in a seat; the detent spring gives the clicks their feel. Its length defines the preload range available on the unit.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04763-20

Category: Preload Tubes

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04763-20_5e43f53a-e1cb-4d8d-90ad-ff5c3e0d2c02.png?v=1788873312
