Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be changed freely. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart.

Why the Original

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 03102-09 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis.
