Öhlins publishes the click count for each unit, and a rebuilt adjuster should return it.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 00415-01

Where It Sits

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. An adjuster that turns without resistance has lost its detent; the setting is then guesswork. Click adjusters work through a needle in a seat; the detent spring gives the clicks their feel. A preload adjuster carries the full spring load and is built as a structural part.

Why the Original

Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00415-01. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Needle and seat together meter the bleed flow; damage to either changes the whole adjustment range. Detent balls and springs are separate parts because they wear before the housing does.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00415-01

Category: Adjusters

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00415-01_3fe7dd27-c12b-483e-9e96-a8b2994dee64.png?v=1788869309
