The 2025 Panigale
Ducati redesigned the V4 with a new front frame, a double-sided swingarm and revised aerodynamics. The throttle assembly changed too, which is why this part number exists separately.
A Double-Sided Swingarm
After decades of single-sided arms on its flagships, Ducati went back to a conventional design because it was lighter and worked better. It caused more comment than any other change.
Both Parts Renewed
The right-hand switches are inside the throttle housing. This component replaces both from one billet, using the motorcycle's own connector with nothing spliced.
Sealed Contacts
Enclosed inside the machined body. A superbike gets washed hot after every track session and that is what actually ends switchgear rather than the laps.
Precision at Small Openings
The bore is cut rather than formed, so the sensor reads the same angle for the same movement. On an engine calibrated this carefully, that is what the fuelling assumes.
Black Anodised
Converted into the aluminium. On a motorcycle whose bodywork is doing everything visually, a restrained cockpit component is correct.
Ergal 7075
An aerospace grade at roughly twice the yield strength of ordinary machined alloy. On a clamped bar component it is a structural choice.
Flex, Deliberately
The new frame is less laterally stiff than its predecessor because Ducati's racing data showed that improved feel at high lean angles. Thirty years of chassis orthodoxy said otherwise.
Ducati's Plug
Pre-wired to the original connector. Nothing is cut, nothing is coded and the exchange takes about a quarter of an hour.
A Swingarm That Caused an Argument
After decades of single-sided arms on its flagships, Ducati went back to a conventional double-sided design because it was lighter and worked better. The engineering case was unarguable and it still upset a great many people, which tells you how much of a superbike is bought with the eyes.
