The F4 LH44 was designed with Lewis Hamilton. The JP ACS 060 replaces its throttle housing with a milled Ergal unit and a shorter throttle cam.

Forty-Four Machines
MV built one for each of Hamilton's racing number, in a specification he had a hand in choosing: matte black and gold, forged wheels, a titanium exhaust and a numbered plaque. It is the rarest F4 variant and among the most collectible motorcycles MV has produced.
A Collaboration That Was Not Cosmetic
Hamilton was involved in the colour and finish decisions rather than simply lending a signature, and the result is noticeably more restrained than MV's usual limited editions. The gold detailing is sparing and the black is matte rather than metallic.
Reversibility Above All
On a motorcycle built in forty-four examples, any change has to be undoable without trace. The throttle conversion is mechanical, uses the original cables and leaves nothing behind when the standard housing is refitted.
Why Owners Still Change It
Because the ones that are ridden are ridden hard. The standard throttle travel is long for an engine of this state of tune, and a shorter cam is the least intrusive way to address that.
Machined From Billet
Ergal 7075 cut from solid rather than cast. The bore in which the tube runs is machined, which gives a more consistent action than a cast body with a moulded cover manages over time.
No Lettering
Emphatically the correct choice here. An LH44 carries Hamilton's number and MV's own numbered plaque, and a third brand's logo in the cockpit would be difficult to justify to anyone.
