An Adventure Handlebar
Wide, high and with a great deal of steering lock. The MT profile is drawn around that geometry, which matters more here than on a sports bike because the bars actually reach full lock in use.
A Hundred and Thirteen Horsepower
The 937 cc Testastretta in the full Multistrada chassis. Ducati built the 950 because the 1200 was more motorcycle than most buyers wanted, and priced it accordingly.
Nineteen Inches at the Front
The compromise that makes the 950 usable on a gravel road without spoiling it on tarmac. It is a more honest choice than either seventeen or twenty-one would have been.
Housing Only
This part leaves the switch block alone. It replaces the throttle assembly, which is the appropriate purchase when the switchgear works properly.
Hours in One Position
Touring means holding an opening rather than moving constantly. A bore that has stayed true keeps that position stable and the hand considerably fresher at the end of a long day.
Black Anodised
Converted into the surface. An adventure bike's bar meets salt, rain and gravel, none of which treats a coated finish with any respect.
Ergal 7075
An aerospace grade at roughly twice the yield strength of ordinary machined alloy. On a tall motorcycle that will topple over eventually, that is a practical consideration.
Four Modes That Mean It
Enduro drops the engine to 75 horsepower and reconfigures the ABS. It is a genuinely different motorcycle in that setting rather than a softened version of the same one.

The interval on the Testastretta 11 degree engine changed what a Ducati costs to keep. On a touring bike covering real distance, it is the most important number in the specification.
