For the 2019 and 2020 ZX-10R, the JP PD KA004 replaces the right-hand switch with a body machined from Ergal 7075 on a universal clamp pattern.

A Two-Year Window
The 2019 and 2020 bikes sit between the 2016 revision and the substantially restyled 2021 model with its integrated winglets. They carry the finger-follower valve train Kawasaki introduced for 2019, which allowed higher revs, and they are the last of the pre-facelift shape.
The Standard R, Not the RR
Where the RR was a limited homologation run, the R is the production superbike underneath it: same chassis, same electronics, softer internals and a pillion seat. It is the one most owners actually have, and the one most likely to be used on the road as well as the circuit.
Where the Original Wears
The mode button goes first because it is used most, and it goes gradually. A moulded assembly does not break; the two halves clipped around the bar develop a little play, and the buttons that sit across that joint start to feel indistinct. A body milled from one block has no such joint.
Both Bolt Patterns
The universal plate accepts aligned and offset master cylinder clamps alike. Brake upgrades are common on this motorcycle, and this removes the need to establish which geometry the bike is running before ordering.
Anodised Through the Surface
Black, red and titanium, all anodised rather than painted. On a bike that will eventually go down, that matters: a slide dulls the finish instead of stripping it back to bright aluminium.
Sealed Switch Elements
The contacts are sealed units inside a housing milled from a single block. A superbike used on circuits is washed hot after every session and stored damp between them, and it is water ingress rather than mechanical wear that ends most switchgear in that setting.
