Five Hundred Built
KTM made the RR as a numbered limited run with carbon bodywork and closed cartridge suspension. It sold out immediately and a great many are used at circuits.
Prepared Like a Race Bike
Lights, plate, mirrors and stand all come off. The sidestand switch is mounted on the bracket and leaves at the same time.
The Loop
Stand, clutch and gear position are wired as one chain. With a link missing the engine cuts the moment a gear is selected.
Closed Correctly
This unit supplies the state the controller expects rather than shorting the terminals. Nothing is stored and the display stays clean.
Forged Wheels and Carbon
KTM took nine kilograms out of a motorcycle that was already the lightest in its class, and then capped production rather than repeat the exercise at scale.
