The JP ES KIT19 covers the electrical and the mechanical side of secondary air on the Diavel, which is the only combination that leaves the job actually finished.

Replaced by the 1260
Ducati enlarged the engine and added variable valve timing in 2019, which makes the original a distinct generation with its own parts.
Do Not Skip the Airbox End
The port where the hose left the intake needs closing too, otherwise unfiltered air enters the engine and the outcome is worse than before.
Access, Not Difficulty
The parts fit in twenty minutes. The tank and frequently the airbox coming off is what actually fills the evening.
The Warning That Starts It
Most owners come to this after a fault appears on a cold morning. The lamp is the solenoid; the cracked reed behind it is usually the actual cause.
Two Failures, One Cause
The solenoid ages electrically and the reeds age thermally, both driven by the same heat cycles. Owners generally discover both at once.
Visible, Not Hidden
The cover is plainly there for anybody who looks at the engine, which is the correct way for a change like this to work.
Nothing Structural Is Touched
The housing carries no load, the solenoid carries no current the engine needs, and neither removal affects sealing, cooling or mounting anywhere on the motor.
Why the Two Halves Belong Together
The solenoid is an electrical component the controller monitors; the reed housing is a mechanical one bolted to the cylinder head. Answering one without addressing the other leaves either a warning on the panel or a plastic box that is going to crack eventually. Both sit behind the same tank and the same airbox, so doing them separately means paying for that access twice.
What the Dashboard Should Look Like
Nothing at all. If a warning survives the job, the cause is generally a connector not seated fully rather than anything about the parts, and pushing the plug home until the latch clicks solves it more often than any amount of diagnosis.
