The JP ES 010 removes the 1190 Adventure R's air injection solenoid from the circuit without a stored fault.

The Electrical Half
A solenoid admits air to the exhaust ports on the overrun and the controller monitors its coil. Both facts matter and only the second one causes trouble.
What Unplugging Does
Infinite resistance where a winding should be. The controller cannot tell a removed part from a broken one, so it warns.

This unit supplies the load the controller expects. Nothing is bridged, nothing is masked and no dealer session is needed afterwards.
A Twenty-One Inch Front on 150 Horsepower
KTM built the R version for people who take a very large motorcycle onto surfaces it has no business being on. It works better than it should.

Reduced power, relaxed traction control and rear ABS switched off. It was the first system of its kind that felt designed rather than marketed.
Components Above the Engine
Hoses, brackets and a plastic valve body sit where a fall puts them at risk. Removing them removes a failure mode a long way from help.
The Overrun Crackle
Fuel finishing its burn in the header, made worse by an open exhaust. Deleting the air supply is the only change that actually stops it.
One Plug
KTM's own connector with nothing spliced. On a bike hosed down after every ride, an untouched loom keeps its value.
The Reed Housing Stays
Until the cover is fitted, the mechanical half is still on the head. The two parts are sold separately for that reason.
Homologation
Removing the system ends road legality in Europe. It is a competition part and should be treated as one.
