The JP ES 007 is what stops the Panigale V4 reporting a secondary air fault once the solenoid has been unbolted from the cylinder head and taken off the motorcycle.

Eleven Hundred and Three Cubic Centimetres
Two hundred and fourteen horsepower at thirteen thousand revolutions, which was more than any production Ducati had ever made and remains more than most riders will ever use.
The Secondary Air Valve
An electrically opened solenoid feeds filtered air into the exhaust ports on a shut throttle, so mixture that escaped the cylinder finishes burning in the header rather than leaving the pipe.
Combine It With Something Else
Doing this alongside a filter change or an exhaust fitting means the bodywork comes off once. On its own it is a perfectly reasonable and slightly wasteful evening.
Ordinary Tools
Nothing here needs a special fitting or a diagnostic connection. Seat off, tank lifted, connector swapped, everything back together and a short ride.
What a Workshop Reader Would See
Nothing at all, because the circuit answers the self-test rather than avoiding it. That matters when the motorcycle returns to a dealer for something unrelated.

Almost universally that the motorcycle sounds better on a trailing throttle and that nothing else is different. That is exactly what the part is meant to achieve.
Fitting It Properly
The connector goes in where the solenoid's did, and the body is then secured so it cannot swing against the frame or a cable. That is genuinely the whole installation. What fills the evening is the tank and, on most Ducatis, the airbox coming out first, which is why owners generally fit the cylinder head cover in the same session rather than repeating the access later.
Fitted at a Service, Not Between Ones
The tank has to come off for several routine jobs, and the eliminator takes twenty minutes once it is off. Doing this at the same time as a filter, a coolant change or a set of belts is straightforward; doing it on its own is an evening spent almost entirely on bodywork.
