A Motocross Engine
The KX450F is a competition machine with lights nowhere in sight. Its mapping assumes a rider who is always either fully on or fully off the throttle.
Fuel Consumption
Expect no meaningful change. A richer cruise setting costs a little and a smoother throttle hand saves a little, and in practice the two cancel. Nobody should buy this expecting to notice anything at the pump.
The Modest Claim
Improve throttle response and smoothness without remapping. That is what the manufacturer says and it is what the product does. There is no third page of promises and there does not need to be.
Consumption in Practice
Some owners report a fraction more, some a fraction less. The honest answer is that the difference is inside the noise of how anybody actually rides, and no claim should be made about it.
A Narrow Tool, Used Precisely
The module has exactly one lever: how long each injector stays open. Everything the product achieves comes from applying that lever at the right load and the right engine speed, which is knowledge rather than hardware.

A Sensible First Modification
It costs less than a set of tyres, takes an evening and can be undone completely. As an entry into modifying an injected motorcycle there are considerably worse places to start.
