Most enduro riding is done standing on the footpegs, and that shapes how the rear brake of a KTM 350 EXC-F Six Days is used. The pedal has to be within reach of the boot in the standing position, without the rider lifting the foot or twisting the ankle. The disc that works under that pedal is Accossato's DK018, listed for the 350 EXC-F Six Days from 2012 to 2024. It is fixed and made in one piece, steel-made as the supplier puts it, 220 mm across and 4 mm thick.

Construction and Material Quality
No floating ring and no rivets: the DK018 is one fixed part, bolted to the rear hub around its 110 mm centre. Accossato lists it as interchangeable with the original and gives its thickness as 4 mm, more than either front disc on its list for this bike. The minimum working thickness appears on the disc itself. According to Accossato, the design and careful choice of materials behind its discs are what give them their braking force.
Pedal Height and Standing
A pedal set too high gets pressed by accident whenever the rider's weight shifts, and one set too low has to be searched for with the toe. Both cost control, and the first also heats the rear disc without the rider knowing. To adjust it on the 350 EXC-F Six Days, stand on the pegs in your riding boots with the bike level and let your foot rest naturally. The pedal tip should sit just below the sole, so that a small movement of the ankle brings it into play. Make the adjustment as described in KTM's manual and check the free play afterwards: the pedal must move slightly before the brake starts to work. Then ride and try it standing and seated. When the setting is right, the rear disc works only when you ask it to.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato matches the DK018 to the KTM 350 EXC-F Six Days from 2012 to 2024, where it takes the place of the original rear disc. For the front there are two Accossato discs, the DK017 from 2012 to 2023 and the DK259 from 2015 to 2024. On the handlebar, Accossato's B8303 and C7303 folding levers are listed for the same Six Days.
Road Approval
The Six Days can be registered for the road, yet this disc has no German ABE and no documented type approval. It is meant for competition and closed ground.
