DescriptionThe whole story

Corner entry is where an SRK 800 RC is quick or slow, and the lever decides it. ZCOO's answer is the B005 - the longest pad ZCOO builds - filling the Brembo caliper of the SRK 800 RC. In EX Race form it is the compound an SRK 800 RC rider can use from the first cold stop of the day.

Key Features

  • Consistent across the whole 1-year listing for the SRK 800 RC, so a used bike takes the same reference as a new one
  • Stable friction from the first squeeze to the wear limit, so the SRK 800 RC brakes the same on a cold morning and at the bottom of a pass
  • Ceramic-sintered EX Race compound: on the SRK 800 RC the braking force rises in proportion to lever pressure instead of snapping in
  • Compatible with the standard Brembo retaining pin and spring of the SRK 800 RC - nothing else to buy
  • Selected by ZCOO for the QJMotor SRK 800 RC out of the sixteen shapes in the 2026 programme
  • 102.2 by 42.0 mm friction face at 8.05 mm total thickness, cut for the Brembo caliper of the QJMotor SRK 800 RC

Construction and Material Quality

The B005 shares its construction with the pads ZCOO supplies to endurance teams. Nothing about the B005 is stamped: the plate is cut, the ceramic is sintered on, and the bond is made under pressure. The effect is a B005 that presents the same geometry to the disc near the wear limit as it did new.

Performance and Feel

Fitted to an SRK 800 RC, EX Race changes how the brake behaves rather than how hard it stops. It works from cold without a warm-up lap and does not turn grabby once the B005 is hot. On the SRK 800 RC it means the fifteenth lap can be braked like the second.

Fitment and Compatibility

This reference is catalogued for the Brembo-equipped QJMotor SRK 800 RC, 2026. Front axle only; the B005 has no rear counterpart in the ZCOO programme. The same B005 shape covers 117 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 102.2 mm length and 42.0 mm height.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
