Voge listed this Trofeo AC for a single model year. That is usually where a supply problem starts: a machine built briefly, sold in modest numbers, and then quietly dropped off every parts shelf while its owners are still riding it. The airbox is the exception, and the reason is that the element inside it was never this bike's alone. It belongs to a housing that Voge went on using for years afterwards, under other names.

A short model run on a long part number

CM251S is catalogued against nine entries in all — Brividos, Valicos and a Trofeo ACX Scrambler among them — and several of those production windows are still open today. Availability therefore does not depend on how many Trofeo ACs left the showroom in one season; it rides on the whole group. For an owner that is worth more than any specification on the page, because the usual worry about a one-year machine is not whether a part is good but whether it will still be there in five years.

Bought once, all the same

Even so, the interesting thing about this element is that the supply question mostly stops applying to it. It is cleaned and refitted rather than consumed, so after the first purchase the airbox drops off the ordering list entirely. What it offers in return is modest and worth stating plainly: no drop-in element makes a standard Trofeo AC noticeably stronger. It offers an intake restriction that returns to the same starting point after every service instead of drifting upward unannounced, and twice the filtering area over which a given load can settle thinly.

Care and cleaning

Compressed air on the clean face, worked outwards, returns the dry share of the load the way it came in and covers most services. Insect residue and road film need lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinsed until the water runs clear. Drying is cold and slow: moving air only, never a heat gun, a radiator or a flame. Fitment & Compatibility
