DescriptionThe whole story▼
The instrument cover surrounds the dash directly in front of the rider, and on the 2025 Streetfighter V4 that dash is the control centre of the motorcycle. The surround is the closest carbon part to your eyes at any moment on the bike, closer than the tank cover and very much closer than anything a photograph shows.
Key Features
- Surround for the instrument display, direct replacement for the original
- Four configurations in 200 Plain weave: clear coat, matt, satin and raw
- Autoclave-cured laminate with a clean edge around the screen aperture
- Original fixing points, display and wiring untouched
- Raw carbon is the lightest and least expensive of the four
The Closest Part to the Rider
Viewing distance changes what a finish does, and no other part on this motorcycle is viewed from fifty centimetres. At that range the weave is not a texture but a pattern, individual tows are distinguishable, and the quality of the surface is fully visible rather than implied. A laminate that looks excellent at two metres has nowhere to hide here.
The same closeness is the argument against gloss. A clear-coated surround sits at the exact angle to catch the sun over the rider's shoulder and reflect it into the display, which is a real annoyance rather than a theoretical one.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Streetfighter V4, model years 2025 and 2026, using the original instrument fixings. It does not fit the 2020-2024 Streetfighter V4, which uses a different dash assembly.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. It replaces a trim surround and does not affect the instruments, but confirm the position for your own registration before road use.
Glare Decides This One
Matt is the functional choice here and it is not a close call. A non-reflective surround keeps light out of the display in exactly the conditions where you most need to read it, low sun ahead or behind. On a motorcycle used on the road, that is worth more than the depth gloss adds.
Satin is the reasonable middle ground and reflects far less than clear coat. Choose clear coat if the motorcycle is built for appearance and ridden in measured doses; it is the most beautiful of the four at this distance and the least practical in bright sun. Raw has no reflective layer at all, and shares matt's advantage at a lower price.
