DescriptionThe whole story▼
An enduro is ridden against the clock, and not only on the special tests. Between them, riders follow a route with time checks, and any minute lost to a repair can turn into a penalty. The GasGas EC 250 is built for exactly this kind of competition, and anyone who races one learns to work quickly when something breaks. A bent front brake lever is a typical case: it happens in a small fall and has to be dealt with before the next section. For the EC 250 of 2024 and 2025, Accossato offers the AGD319, a silver replacement brake lever of the original type.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato, a company whose history includes an Enduro World Championship title in 1985, describes the AGD319 as an original spare part type for GasGas and Husqvarna bikes. It is meant to restore the machine to its original style, and Accossato says it can replace the standard lever without any change in ergonomics or resistance. For a racer on the EC 250, that means a lever that feels familiar at the first braking point after the repair. It is supplied in silver. No other properties are specified by Accossato, so we claim none.
Minutes in the Service Area
Good enduro riders prepare their repairs before the event. They know which tool each job needs, carry the tools in a fixed order and practise the common jobs at home, where a mistake costs nothing. Changing a front brake lever on the EC 250 is one of those jobs. Practise it with the tool you will carry, time yourself, and you will find it takes only a few minutes once you know it. At the event, work through a set sequence: take off the damaged lever, wipe mud and grit from the pivot, apply a thin layer of grease, fit the new lever and check that it moves freely. Then test the brake before riding off. Squeeze the lever several times, push the bike forward and brake, and make sure the front wheel stops firmly. If the pressure point feels spongy or the lever comes back too far towards the grip, do not ride on and hope; a front brake that does not work costs more than any time penalty. Afterwards, throw the bent lever away. Straightening it saves nothing.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGD319 for the EC 250 of 2024 and 2025. The same lever is catalogued at Inter-Pace for other GasGas models such as the EC 300 and the MC 450F, and for Husqvarna's FE 250. Because the list covers only these two model years of the EC 250, please compare our photo with your own lever before ordering if your bike is from another year.
Road Approval
No ABE or test mark accompanies the AGD319, so it is listed with us for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
