DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Ninja H2R is the closed-course sister of the H2: no lights, no mirrors, and a supercharged engine free of the limits a road bike has to respect. It is sold for the track only and cannot be registered for the road, so its owners spend their riding days at circuits and private test tracks. For the H2R of 2015 to 2024, Accossato lists the FC113, a quick-release fuel tank cap machined from aluminium, with a pawl whose pin you choose from six colours.

Key Features

  • Quick-release fuel tank cap for the Kawasaki Ninja H2R, 2015 to 2024
  • Body entirely CNC-machined from aluminium
  • Quick-closing pawl
  • Six pin colours: red, silver, green, gold, black, blue
  • Pawl can be replaced on its own
  • New design, robust and durable according to Accossato
  • No German ABE documented; fits the H2R's closed-course role

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's FC113 is aluminium in its entirety, cut on CNC machines, and the company calls it robust and durable, with a new and attractive design. The quick-closing pawl opens the H2R's tank quickly and closes it again in the same moment, and its pin is made in six colours. If a pawl is damaged, Accossato has replacements available separately.

A Bike That Never Sees a Public Road

Owning an H2R changes the logistics of riding. The bike goes everywhere in a van or on a trailer, and every outing is an event with a timetable, a paddock space and often a noise limit that decides which circuits will accept it at all. With no road use, the question of swapping caps back and forth never arises: the FC113 can stay fitted for good. The routine is about care rather than change. Before loading, check that the pawl is closed and that nothing weeps around the cap, because fuel on the floor of a van is dangerous. Transport the bike with a moderate amount of fuel rather than a brimmed tank. In the paddock, refuel on an absorbent mat, with the engine off and cooling, and keep the can well away from the exhaust. After the day, clean the cap and the tank top before the bike goes back into the van. Because an H2R often stands for weeks between outings, note down when it was last fuelled and with what.

Fitment and Compatibility

On Accossato's list the H2R appears as the Ninja H2 1000 R, from 2015 to 2024, and those are the years this product covers. The road-going Ninja H2 shares the cap, and so does the H2 SX built from 2018 to 2020. Confirm your bike's year against the entry before you order.

Road Approval

No German ABE and no parts certificate are on record for the FC113, so it is a part for closed courses, which is also the only place the H2R is built to be ridden.
