DescriptionThe whole story▼
The current, 2024-2025 Yamaha MT-09 gets its own Accossato braided brake line kit, five hoses built to the Standard layout for the ABS-equipped bike, including the higher-output 35 kW version sold under licence restrictions. The hoses keep the factory routing but swap the rubber for stainless braid, so the lever builds pressure more directly and holds a firmer, more consistent point than it does through the original equipment.
Key Features
- Five-hose Standard-layout kit for the 2024-2025 MT-09, including the 35 kW variant
- Stainless steel aeronautical braid sheath
- Stainless steel fittings
- 20 sheath colours available
- Keeps the factory brake-line routing, only the hose material changes
- Matched to the current MT-09's ABS brake system
Construction and Material Quality
The hoses share the construction used across this range: a woven stainless outer braid over the pressure line, finished with stainless steel fittings, with no painted option listed for this application. The braid resists ballooning under pressure far better than the rubber it replaces, so the five lines hold their shape through repeated hard braking rather than softening the way an ageing factory hose can.
Compatibility with the Current ABS System
Yamaha carried the MT-09 into its current generation with an updated ABS brake system, and this kit is matched specifically to that hardware, including the lower-powered 35 kW version sold where licence rules require it. Fitting braided hoses to an ABS-equipped bike does not change how the ABS itself works; it simply gives the lever and pedal a firmer, more direct feel, and the system should still be bled and function-checked once the new hoses are fitted.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Yamaha MT-09 ABS sold for 2024 and 2025, including the 35 kW restricted-power version, and the same part also covers the MT-09 Y-AMT of the same model years, listed separately under its own fitment entry since it is a distinct variant. Earlier MT-09 model years, from 2014 through 2023, use different Accossato kits for their own brake hardware, so check the Fitment tab for the kit matched to your exact model year.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
5 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Hollow bolts and sealing washers should be checked against your motorcycle before fitting, as these are not necessarily included.
