DescriptionThe whole story▼
Wings come in pairs on a motorcycle, but they do not get bought in pairs — they get bought one at a time, after contact. 3DK26239 is the right-hand element of Carbonin's Gen 7 flank aerodynamics for the 2026 ZX-10R, sold on its own so that a rider who has lost one side is not obliged to replace two.
Key Features
- Right-hand wing, sized and shaped as the mirror of the left-side element
- Built by additive manufacture, giving a section that can be hollow without a joint line
- Attaches to the CK26232 right side panel
- Individually available — pairs are not enforced
- Intended to be run together with 3DK26237 on the opposite flank
Symmetry Is Not Optional
Running one wing and not the other is worth saying plainly: it is not a valid configuration. Aerodynamic loads on a motorcycle are already asymmetric through a corner, and removing one element while keeping the other adds a steady yaw contribution that does not disappear on the straight. If a wing is damaged, replace it before the next session or take both off. That is why this part is stocked as a single item rather than only as a pair.
Where the Printing Pays
Additive manufacture is a deliberate choice for a component this size. There is no tooling behind it, which means an updated profile can reach customers without a new mould, and there is no split line down the section where two mould halves would otherwise meet. For a part whose job is entirely about the shape of its surfaces, that matters more than the material headline.
Painting a Printed Part
A printed wing does not take paint the way a moulded carbon panel does. The surface carries the fine stepping left by the build process, so it wants filling and keying before colour goes on rather than a coat straight onto the raw part — otherwise the layer lines read through the finished paint in raking light. Any paint shop that does racing bodywork will know the routine; it is worth mentioning when the parts are handed over, because a wing is small enough to be treated as an afterthought.
Fitment
