Riding in a group changes the way you brake: fewer hard stops, far more small corrections to hold your place. Listed for this bike from 2010 to 2016, Accossato's EDF016 brake lever is machined from aluminium, and its adjustable reach lets the blade rest exactly where the fingers can make those corrections without effort.

Construction and Material Quality
Over a long day in the saddle, consistency is what you want from a lever. The EDF016 is machined from aluminium on CNC equipment rather than cast, and then anodised, black on the hub and your chosen colour on the blade. It is a fixed design, a single piece without a folding joint, so there is no hinge to develop play over the years, and the lever feels the same on the last day of a tour as on the first.

Much of that is throttle, but a steady share is the front brake used very lightly, often with two fingers resting on the blade for minutes at a time. In Accossato's catalogue, the entry behind this product reads FZ6 600 R and spans a longer run of years; in our shop it is assigned to the European XJ6 Diversion F, so the years given here are limited to that bike, 2010 to 2016. The lever replaces the stock blade on the front master cylinder. Because the catalogue name differs from the badge on the fairing, please compare your original lever with the product photos before ordering.
