DescriptionThe whole story

There is nowhere for the heat to go on a supermoto front end. For the Ducati HYPERMOTARD 950 RVE of 2020 to 2024 that shape is the B007, a 85.0 by 51.0 mm face on a laser-cut backing plate. EXR reached the market in September 2026 and takes over from EXC Endurance in the B007 too.

Key Features

  • Runs cooler at the disc than a conventional sinter, because the ceramic film it forms carries part of the load on the HYPERMOTARD 950 RVE
  • Part number Z-B007-EXR, EAN 4950545771780
  • Fits the Brembo caliper the Ducati HYPERMOTARD 950 RVE left the factory with - no aftermarket caliper required
  • Developed on the same ceramic platform ZCOO supplies to endurance teams at Suzuka and the Bol d'Or
  • Supplied as a pack of two - the exact set the Brembo caliper of the HYPERMOTARD 950 RVE takes
  • The B007 is dimensionally stable under the clamping load a Brembo caliper generates

Construction and Material Quality

The B007 is built on the same platform as ZCOO's endurance-racing references. A Brembo caliper spreads under peak line pressure, and a plate that yields with it moves the contact patch onto the pad's edges. That is why the B007 holds a consistent contact patch deep into its service life.

Performance and Feel

EXR's headline claim is specific: up to twenty percent more braking force in the second phase of braking. The B007 in EXR keeps EXC's authority and loses its abruptness. For a supermoto like the HYPERMOTARD 950 RVE the heat has nowhere to go, so the compound has to hold.

Fitment and Compatibility

ZCOO's 2026 catalogue lists this reference for the Ducati HYPERMOTARD 950 RVE across 5 model years (2020 to 2024). The same B007 shape covers 111 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. Nothing in the ZCOO range fits the rear axle of the HYPERMOTARD 950 RVE. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 85.0 mm length and 51.0 mm height.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
