Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour. Öhlins publishes sag targets, and those are the reference for choosing a rate. Öhlins measures each spring after setting rather than relying on the winding specification.

Why the Original

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it.

How to Be Sure It Fits

05601-01 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins states dimension a 47.3 mm, dimension b 85 mm, dimension c 37 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Coating is applied after setting so it does not affect the rate. Free length and inner diameter decide whether a spring fits; the rate decides whether it suits.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05601-01

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 47.3 mm

Dimension B: 85 mm

Dimension C: 37 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05601-01_694aab24-334d-4a65-a197-c2a6b8f4b781.png?v=1788876873
