Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. A spherical bearing in the eye lets the damper follow the linkage arc without side load. Top eyes with an integrated preload adjuster are listed as one part.

Why the Original

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

How to Be Sure It Fits

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 21120-11 in this case. Check dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 95 mm, dimension c 26 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. The eye takes the entire load path from wheel to chassis. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21120-11

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 95 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21120-11_8070736a-ee5e-4d27-8376-0fae8a6978d9.png?v=1788879504
