Öhlins supplies this as a matched set so the parts inside it work together. The contents are matched at the factory, so substituting one piece defeats the purpose. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 06246-11. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Buying the kit is usually cheaper than the individual parts and avoids missing one. The contents are matched at the factory, so substituting one piece defeats the purpose.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06246-11

Category: Service Kits

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06246-11_137c8c41-822b-42c5-929f-ff13db7b0ffc.png?v=1788875255
