DescriptionThe whole story▼
The race right-hand switch for the 1390 Super Duke R, machined from Ergal 7075 on a universal clamp.
Key Features
- KTM 1390 Super Duke R (2024–2026)
- Universal hole pattern for either master cylinder
- Reduced race control set
- Black anodised
- CNC-milled Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
A Hundred and Ninety Horsepower
KTM's CAMSHIFT variable intake timing gives the 1350 cc twin two cam profiles and lets it make peak power without losing the low-rev tractability a big V-twin is bought for. It is the most capable Super Duke yet and the least forgiving of a vague control.
Where the Right Hand Works
Starter and engine stop, operated in a pit lane under time pressure with an engine running. On a race-prepared bike those are the two controls that absolutely must register, and removing everything around them is how that is guaranteed.
Universal Clamp Pattern
A 1390 prepared for track use will be running an aftermarket master cylinder. The plate takes both aligned and offset bolt geometries, which removes one decision from a build where much else is still being established.
No Aftermarket Harness
KTM's own connector and the factory ECU. The CAMSHIFT management, the traction intervention and the anti-wheelie all continue to function exactly as calibrated, and the motorcycle remains fully diagnosable.
A Very New Model
The 1390 reached dealers in 2024 and the aftermarket around it is only beginning to form. Parts engineered for the bike rather than adapted from the 1290, which differs electrically, are worth taking while the choice is narrow.
Sealed for the Paddock
Contacts sealed inside a machined body with no moulded joint. Race machines are cleaned hot, transported damp and stored in vans, which is harder on switchgear than any amount of riding.
Black Anodised
A single finish, converted into the metal. On a bike wearing race bodywork a quiet cockpit is easier to read than a bright one, and the anodising dulls rather than flakes.
