The JP MJ 008 adds a fuel correction to the DL1000 V-STROM where the factory map had to be careful, and does it without a laptop, a dyno session or a remap.

The Bigger Vee
The 1037 cc twin gives the V-Strom the torque a loaded touring bike needs, without changing the essential character of the machine.
Against a Full Remap
Flashing the original controller changes ignition timing, rev limits and rider aids as well as fuelling, and it needs specialist equipment. A module is narrower, cheaper and reversible in a minute, which suits an owner who wants one problem solved.
Buying With an Exhaust Already Fitted
This is the most common situation and the clearest case. A motorcycle running an aftermarket silencer on the standard map is working with a mixture the factory never intended it to have.
Model-Specific Wiring
JetPrime supplies the harness for the chosen motorcycle with the correct connectors moulded on. It is the part of the product that costs the most to develop and the part nobody thinks about.
Approval and Local Rules
Fuelling forms part of the emissions approval in most European markets. Changing it moves the motorcycle outside its approved state, which is worth understanding rather than discovering.
The Mechanism, Once More
An injector is a valve that opens for a measured time. Fuel quantity is that time. A module intercepts the instruction and lengthens or shortens it, and everything else about the motorcycle carries on unchanged.
If Something Goes Wrong
Unplug it and the motorcycle is standard. That single sentence is worth more during a diagnosis than any amount of documentation, and it is not true of a reflashed controller.
Not a Cure for Age
An engine with worn valve guides or low compression runs badly for mechanical reasons. Adding fuel masks a symptom and delays a repair that will only get more expensive.
