DescriptionThe whole story▼

The GSX1250F took the Bandit's engine and wrapped it in a full fairing, turning a big naked into a genuine distance bike. Distance changes what you want from a clutch lever: not sharpness so much as a reach that still feels right after three hundred miles.

Key Features

  • Engineered break point inside the two-finger zone
  • Phosphated pivot seat, free of play from new
  • CNC-machined from solid aluminium, black anodised
  • Milled Gilles face for a secure gloved grip
  • Bolts to the original master cylinder without adapters
  • Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91203

Construction

Machined from one piece of aluminium, black anodised, with a phosphated pivot seat. A treated bearing is what keeps the blade returning cleanly on a bike that goes out in weather rather than waiting for it to pass.

Glove Thickness Changes with the Route

A bike like this covers enough ground in a day to see two kinds of weather. Winter gloves add several millimetres at the fingertip, and a fixed lever cannot account for that. Thirty-five positions can, adjusted in the time it takes to fill the tank.

Where the Clutch Actually Gets Used

Not on the motorway, but in the roadworks, the ferry queue and the last mile into town. That is where a short reach pays, and where a long one turns into an ache.

Road Approval

Scope of Delivery
