DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Arrow Competition full exhaust system 71232PTZ is a race-bred, titanium-constructed piece of engineering built exclusively for the Yamaha YZF-R7. From the sweeping titanium header to the carbon-capped silencer, every element reflects Arrow's decades of Grand Prix and World Superbike heritage — delivering a system that looks as purposeful as it performs.
Key Features
- Full titanium construction throughout the header and silencer body — exceptional heat resistance, minimal mass and a raw, industrial finish that ages beautifully on track.
- Carbon end cap adds structural rigidity while reinforcing the system's competition aesthetic.
- Titanium internals maximise durability and thermal stability under sustained race conditions.
- Removable dB killer included for pit-to-pitlane flexibility — adjust sound output to circuit regulations without additional hardware.
- 54 mm inlet / 43 mm outlet dimensions and 250 mm overall silencer length engineered specifically for the YZF-R7 airflow characteristics.
- Race-use only homologation — uncompromised mapping of gas flow for peak power and sharpened throttle response.
Design, Finish and Heritage
Arrow has been crafting exhaust systems for factory racing teams and discerning road riders alike since 1969. The 71232PTZ carries that lineage into every weld bead and carbon fibre cap. Titanium in its natural state develops a rich, heat-blued patina after use — a finish that no paint or coating can replicate and that visually tells the story of every session. Paired with the woven carbon end cap, the result is a system that earns attention in the paddock before the engine is even started.
Performance Engineering
Reducing unsprung and rotating mass is one of the most effective ways to sharpen a middleweight sportsbike's handling, and the full titanium construction of this system contributes meaningfully to that goal. Optimised gas flow through the titanium header feeds directly into improved throttle response and a broader, more usable power curve — critical when chasing lap times on the YZF-R7. Arrow recommends pairing this system with a dedicated ECU remap to extract the full performance benefit.
Fitment and Compatibility
This system is designed and manufactured as a direct, bolt-on replacement for the Yamaha YZF-R7 across model years 2021 to 2026. No modification to the frame or subframe is required. For installation confidence, Arrow recommends following the supplied fitting instructions and carrying out a purpose-built fuel mapping session after fitment.
Important Notice
This exhaust system is approved for race use only and carries no road-use type approval. It must not be used on public roads. The removable dB killer is included and should be fitted when circuit noise regulations require it.
