Track days in spring and autumn often start damp and end dry, or the other way round, and a session can change character from one lap to the next. For the Panigale V4 S of 2018 and 2019, Accossato's RA002 pairs a folding brake lever with a 90-degree remote adjuster. It comes from racing, where a rider wants to alter the lever setting without a pit stop: the left hand does the adjusting, so the right one never has to leave the throttle. The lever mounts on the original brake master cylinder.

Construction and Material Quality
The RA002 is a lever and an adjuster made to work together. The lever follows Accossato's folding layout: a black base, machined from aluminium and anodised, carries the pivot on the master cylinder, and the coloured blade hangs from it on a hinge. The remote adjuster is the part the left hand operates. Accossato supplies it with a holder in one of two sizes, 35 mm or 60 mm; if you are unsure which one you need, ask us before ordering. Blades come in seven anodised colours, with or without the RST cut-out.
A Drying Line
Picture a V4 S session that starts on a track still wet from overnight rain. Early laps are about gentle inputs, and many riders like the lever set so the first part of its movement is easy to control finely. Twenty minutes later a dry line appears, grip rises, and braking gets harder and later. With a conventional lever, the setting from the start of the session stays until the next pit stop. The RA002 lets you change it as the track changes. On a straight, with the bike upright and the throttle held, the left hand leaves the bar briefly, makes the change at the adjuster and returns. It takes practice, and it belongs only where the bike is stable, but it lets the lever follow the conditions instead of lagging one session behind them. The same works in reverse when rain starts to fall halfway through.
Fitment and Compatibility
The RA002 is listed by Accossato for the Panigale V4 S from 2018 to 2019, including the S Corse of 2019 and the Thai and US versions. It takes the place of the brake lever, so it is an alternative to the LV013 folding brake lever rather than an addition. The LV015 folding clutch lever covers the same V4 S years and completes the cockpit on the left.
Road Approval
German road approval (ABE) is not documented for the RA002. It is intended for racing and sold for use on the track.
