DescriptionThe whole story▼
KTM's FREERIDE 250 R runs its clutch circuit as a single line from lever to engine, and Accossato's AGC5023 replaces the rubber original with one braided hose in Clutch layout, covering the 2012 to 2016 model years.
Key Features
- Braided clutch hose kit for the KTM FREERIDE 250 R, 2012 to 2016
- Clutch layout, following the same line as the factory rubber hose it replaces
- Kit supplied as 1 braided hose
- Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings
- Sheath available in 20 colours
- Direct replacement for the factory rubber clutch line on this specific model and year range
- Aeronautical-grade braid construction
Construction and Material Quality
The AGC5023's one hose is wrapped in an aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid, built to resist stretch at the clutch lever better than the rubber line it replaces, across the full 2012 to 2016 run. Accossato offers this kit with either a plain stainless fitting or a painted stainless fitting in red, green, blue, black or gold. The braid's own 20-colour sheath range is chosen separately from whichever fitting colour is picked. Whichever fitting finish is chosen applies to the one hose end at the lever and the other at the engine alike, since the AGC5023 ships as a single matched pair.
Clutch Layout and Hose Routing
A single continuous line is all the FREERIDE 250 R's clutch circuit needs, running from the lever's master cylinder to the slave cylinder at the engine, and Clutch layout keeps the AGC5023's braided hose on that same run rather than altering it. Fitting the hose is a direct swap at both ends in place of the rubber original. Bleeding the clutch system afterwards is what actually restores a firm, repeatable lever pull, since any air trapped inside the new hose is what causes a soft or inconsistent clutch feel.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato specifies the AGC5023 for the KTM FREERIDE 250 R across 2012 to 2016, in the Clutch layout covered here. The identical clutch kit also equips the FREERIDE 350 for the same years, since the two models share one clutch-line design; a separate two-hose brake kit, the AGF5023, has to be ordered on its own for either bike's brake circuit.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for the AGC5023, so this kit is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
This kit includes 1 braided hose for the Clutch layout. Banjo bolts and sealing washers are not confirmed as included, so check the existing hardware on the bike before fitting.
